"Quick... it's almost time for dinner... the kids will be here soon."
"Okay... let's divide it and eat the pieces like frogs!"
"WHAT?"
"Like this... scoop it up with your tongue, and then eat the whole thing."
"Ummm..."
And so it began... the watermelon frog-eating contest... where winners have the least melon-dribble, losers get knocked off their stools, and only wimps spit out the seeds.
Life is down and dirty here at CVE...

Jenna & Amy... our erstwhile competitors (even wearing "watermelon-colored" clothing you might notice) on their first race to dribble heaven...

So... I don't know what got into these two tonight, but it didn't stop after the watermelon contest... oh no.
It continued right on into "let's-burn-each-other's-hair." Oh wait... that was AMY who is now our resident pyromaniac... but who has issues figuring out how to get the lighter to work. Why issues, you ask? Well... the official diagnosis? It invovles doing two things at once... =P

Steph,
Thank you for successfully ruining my "I am a normal person" facade. I have been waiting to break out...I guess now that the world knows the truth, I just have to say that IT WAS ALL JENNA'S FAULT! ;)
Love ya,
amy
Amy, my dear... admit it. You were never a "normal" person... lol.
So this is what i come home to, huh?
last time out I distinctly remember having a terrible time getting the lighter to light garbage, of course it's not the same one, but none-the-less, someone shoulda sent some working lighters instead of so much zicam:)
I think we have 3 or 4 of those things lying around our kitchen...and none of them work consistently ;)
Wow... Amy is really weird. It's a good thing that she has such a normal and cool sister to balance her out!
Kristen,
Oh just go ahead and pretend your normal...maybe I should send them to your blog so they quickly realize the truth! ;)
I was pronounced the normal one in the family over 20 years ago. Often challenged, never defeated.
As always,
Normal Dad
Possibly self pronounced I might add... :)
Not normal Mom (according to my family!)
hehe... nice!
