Ya me regrese...

... por fin. :)

It's good to be back in Mexico, and though marked by illness, my time at home was wonderful. I appreciate the many prayers and thoughts, and am feeling mucho mejor [much better]. I couldn't possibly describe my trip, except to say that it was home... and that's always a good thing.

Here are some photos from my time in Kansas, and CVE updates will soon be forthcoming... ;)

Home-Grown...

... though they weren't. Possible that my brilliant idea could work... but it didn't.
But... turns out it is amazingly fun to stab a tomato with a mustard container (after your parents give you permission and then stare on in awe and horror as you actually do it).
Why is it that at home my maturity level drops to the negatives???
[No tomatoes were harmed in the taking of these photos. Simply expanded. All excess materials will/shall be used on/in salads, sandwiches, pasta, or to stick in one's ears.]

In Almost Exactly 12 Hours...

... I will be in Kansas.

K-A-N-S-A-S, otherwise known as H-O-M-E, or to those of us fortunate enough to know it well: P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N... lol. Now, don't argue "Bluffton-ites"... deep down you know it's true... :)

The land of fields, the best bed in the entire world, and the smell of Mom's potpourri. Where telephone conversations on the two-way, late-night rendezvous at the kitchen table, and belly-laughing are not only permissable... but expected. "Where they know you by name and treat you like family" as the song goes.

Where you can be you. And I can be me.

(happy sigh)

Yeah-ness. ;)

p.s. (My apologies if the blog is not updated for the next couple weeks. Although what is a couple weeks compared to the month I skipped?!? I promise to blog if something amusing happens... which presents never-ending possibilities in my family... lol)
