... I will be in Kansas.
K-A-N-S-A-S, otherwise known as H-O-M-E, or to those of us fortunate enough to know it well: P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N... lol. Now, don't argue "Bluffton-ites"... deep down you know it's true... :)
The land of fields, the best bed in the entire world, and the smell of Mom's potpourri. Where telephone conversations on the two-way, late-night rendezvous at the kitchen table, and belly-laughing are not only permissable... but expected. "Where they know you by name and treat you like family" as the song goes.
Where you can be you. And I can be me.
(happy sigh)
Yeah-ness. ;)
p.s. (My apologies if the blog is not updated for the next couple weeks. Although what is a couple weeks compared to the month I skipped?!? I promise to blog if something amusing happens... which presents never-ending possibilities in my family... lol)

do not freak out, but i do believe that you just quoted a song from the country music genre
...and what else would you expect from a Kansan-at-heart? :)

There's no place like home ... where a tornado could hit and no one would know the difference.
(Or as I just heard quoted yesterday, some people build a house to be seen, and some build a home to live in. Give me a home anytime.)
Enjoy the belly laughs!
just click ur heals 3 times stef!!! and enjoy ur trip home...
ur is a term they use in kansas?

Steph,
The best part about Kansas is that you never have to worry about being "parked-in" whatever that means.
