Compilation Time!

Lots of fun photos for your viewing pleasure!

I let Candi use my camera one morning just to explore the world of photography... which she loves.

This was her self-portrait photo... :)

I am grateful for digital photos (that are easily deleted) since she decided to take photos of every single shirt I was hanging up to dry... ;)

A week or so ago we went to Cono Rico (the best place in town for soft-serve ice cream) for a memory verse prize... we're working on the first chapter of James, which is one of my favorites. These kids have great memories! :)
Memorization comes very naturally for Aron... actually, most things academic come naturally to him... as long as he's interested in them! He usually has the verse(s) memorized after a couple repetitions, and I pray that he will not just have head knowledge, but heart knowledge!

[Sorry for the sideways photo...]

Marcos ordered what is the equivalent of a sno-cone... and hated it! I don't think he'll ever try it again, poor kid! Not much of a prize when you dislike it so much... :(

We were blessed to be able to go out with Zulema the other night for Jenna's birthday. I am so thankful for these women, these sisters in Christ... He truly blesses relationships when HE is the center, and I love watching Him work in all our lives!

We had the good fortune to watch Beni while Limon & Kristi were in the States this past week and a half... and we (translation = the kids & I) just hated every second!

Beni is seriously such a little stud... I can't think of another way to describe him! And you can tell that he has been worked with because he is generally very obedient (though he doesn't always want to be :).

Felicidades Limon & Kristi! He was a joy... :)

Another Beni moment... he about drowned Candi in the tub!

This little boy loves bathtime... :)

Jenna received this lovely bouquet of roses from our dear neighbor Jose Luis for her birthday... I just couldn't resist putting up a photo of this (very) Mexican arrangement... ;)

And... Diego turned 7!

I gave him the option of me drawing something on his cake or choosing a "surprise cake"... and he chose the surprise!!! So... we did "dirt cake" with Oreos, pudding, whipped cream, and [of course] sour gummy worms! I think he liked it... ;)

The typical face-plant photo...

With all of his siblings before eating "haystacks" -- one of his favorite meals.

It's become sort of a tradition to eat Maruchan (essentially Raman noodles) on the kids' birthdays... they really like it, so why not??? Beni got in on the fun... although the noodles were a little bit much for him... ;)

Diego with his new Zartz game... a very cool dart-throwing game that is [already and in less time than I thought possible] destroyed. :)

I really should just give them sticks every birthday...

Boys. :)

God is faithful. Thank you for your prayers, and please continue to pray for faithfulness on our parts in the day-to-day decisions to honor and glorify our Savior, our Lord, the Holy One of Israel. He is worthy to be praised!
