In the last couple months, we have been extremely fortunate to have several work teams help with the renovations to our house -- the old girls' dorm. We are delighted with the progress and hoping that we can get the kids moved in before Peanut makes his appearance... :)
I book-ended the post with a couple random photos, just so it's not all construction!

Right before Valentine's Day I bought some Cuties from the States and brought them home... each one had a sticker on it, and Aron decided that he really liked this one that said "in love" -- go figure -- so he decided to decorate his glasses! ;)

Our new front entryway! Joel expanded the door out (you can see where the tile stops) and put in...

... a new front door (goodbye old prison door!) and this fun side window! It was a return at Home Depot, so it was also cheap... :) It adds some character to the front entry!

The new wrap-around porch, viewed from the southwest side...

And from the northwest side!

Painting starts! These ladies from the Washington group were AMAZING... seriously. Lots and lots of detail work over the drywall and mudding that the Gridley group had done... which was also AMAZING! This purple will be Candi's room...

And the blue is for Marcos' room... :)

This is looking from our kitchen toward the north side of the house, down through the addition and out toward the clotheslines and
comedor.

My husband has been working like crazy to finish tiling this weekend... this is Marcos' room again.

And Candi's...

And the visitor bathroom! Yeah!

This is our laundry area and the north door that opens to the porch... unpainted still, but functional!!!

And... the living room! This picture doesn't represent the blue very well, because of the light, but we like it quite a bit!
(You can also see our son wrapped in a blanket in the armchair -- a few of us seem to be going through a nasty bout with flu-like symptoms; praise the Lord, I think we're on the upward mend!)
And, to finish off, the women on campus had a baby shower/wedding shower for Kali and I this past Saturday. We all enjoyed brunch, opened a few gifts and then had a praise singing -- what a blessing to be able to praise God for the changes He brings in our lives! Thanks, ladies... :)
Thanks for your continued prayers as March has now begun! Please pray for patience and endurance as our family battles sickness and that we can look forward to the birth of our fifth child with joy and anticipation! We also ask that you keep CVE in your prayers with visitors, work teams, and the daily challenges that come... we appreciate them!

It looks like I missed out on helping you paint this year! Thinking of you so often and keeping your family close in prayer as you anticipate the arrival of your precious baby. With love, Ginny
