We love October!

Not only because it's almost perfect weather down here... but because this is usually when Grandpa and Grandma Rink come visit!  :)

Our family was able to spend three weeks with Papa and Mama Rink -- so the next few posts will randomly cover that time!
Aron on a date with Joel -- eating "real" Chinese food, which was... interesting.  :)
Papa Rink and Ithan reading "Oso pardo, oso pardo..."
Aron wanted me to get an action shot of him jumping onto the trampoline with his friend, David.  He was impressed with my photographic abilities (not so much) and I was impressed with the camera... hehe.
The love relationship this boy has with water might get him into trouble someday!!!

 Precious Baby Eric!
(I know... all babes are precious... but he just looks "nuzzle-able" in this photo... :)
"Ride, ride, ride... ride downtown... watch out Little Eric, you'll fall D-O-O-W-N!!"
Groovin' to the tunes with his older bro.
Can you guess what this is???
um.
yep.
His diaper!!!
(yes... we quickly changed it after this photo!)
 Lovin' Nintendo time... even Eric!
Mmmmmmm... Grandma Jeanne's Sara Lee coffee cake!
He saw.
He devoured.
He liked.
mucho.
Date night with Mom... at the Eiffel Tower!!!
or... Cono Rico.
But almost as good... ;)
"So... do I actually get to eat this stuff or do I only get to watch?"
Doesn't this picture just make you want to jump on and join them???
Look at that sunshine!  I can almost feel it on my face!
Oh, Ithan... how fortunate you are, babe!
 Good-lookin' guy, don't you think?  :)))))))))))
[no comments, peanut-section!]
Oh, Eric... how fortunate you are, babe!
(didn't I just write that?!?)

Thanks for your prayers for our adoption!  We do have a couple updates... we have "officially" begun the taking away of rights process with our kids' birth mother and Candi's birth father.  We are still looking for a missing document in the mother's case and we ask for your prayers to help locate it and then to locate her.  Please pray for the birth mother (that she would be compliant and open to conversation) and for her less-than-a-year-old baby.  Joel and I both received our permanent residencies, so that will help when we actually get to the adoption stage... praise God!

Thank you!
