... has been fun!
Here are just a few of the MANY photos that I took in August... :)
Experiments from summer EXPO classes on our window sill!
Sweet boy needing a major haircut!!!
(It's summer, right?!?)
These eyes might get him into trouble as he gets older! Especially here in Mexico... :)
So... we sort of became a pet store in time for EXPO this year! Meet our three pets who were, at that time, still living... ;)
Above, Iago the Iguana!!! He is ~8 mos. now and is one of the coolest pets I've (we've) ever owned. He eats like a horse -- literally -- and makes our living room oh-so-exciting to visit... :)
STATUS: Still living!
This is Oreo! Such a sweet little bunny! This was one of the most exciting pets for Ithan as he could chase him around in the grass... but notice the past tense??? Sadly, Oreo succumbed to the summer heat in a couple of weeks... and was replaced with Charlie (not pictured)!!! Charlie was an even better bunny, but also (unfortunately) is now buried in our garden... :(
Although sad, the lessons from these two bunnies have been very good for our kids...
STATUS: Deceased... sadly.
Meet Flor, our hamster and general mess-maker... :)
She smells, she tears things up, and the kids love her to pieces... hmmmm.
I admit, she is far from my favorite pet, but she can run through mazes pretty amazingly.
[One very small point in her favor...]
She also happens to be the fattest hamster I've ever seen... the kids say she has a "bubble-butt!"
Joel and I keep secretly hoping she'll escape and meet her timely end...
STATUS: Still alive... sadly.
I know... how mean. ;)
I'm not sure what it is about new cameras... but every time I am inspired to take pictures of nature! Maybe it's because the most natural beauty is found there?
I'm thankful for the natural beauty, Lord... :)
And the not-so-beautiful moments as well... [SEE BELOW!]
Hmmm... could be that his older brother just climbed on top of him. Or that he smashed him while trying to kiss him. Or that he head-bonked him too hard. Or...
... the list goes on and on. :)
Game night at the Wulfs! These two were having lots of fun taking the closet apart... :)
New glasses!!!
We'll see how long these ones last... :(
... and these ones!!! :(
Thanks for your prayers for our family... we appreciate them!

Again, great pictures! Wow, the boys did get haircuts! Love the glasses, but understand the comment about how long they will last--kids and glasses--enough said! And you are right about those blue eyes-and they always look so innocent?!? Haven't met your kids, but feel I know them from your blog, Jim and Jeanne and Mark and Barb!
Prayers Always,
M.K.
Must be a high tech camera, the focus looks like it will be fun to have!
I think it's funny you don't like the hamster. Especially since you were the one that always wanted the ones we had and would bring Mrs. Rooks' home.
