Eclecticality or Randomocity... Whichever You Prefer

At this time I don't have one or two amazing stories to relate... I have six or seven. Hence, I have decided that this post shall be a sampling of the various pictures/story ideas I could have written a post about... but eventually decided nobody would want to read a twenty-page summary... except for maybe Mom... =)

The battle continues...
Despite tactics by Jenna to have the girls rip off Joel's arm bracelet... we still have two contestants! Who will win? Who will lose? I would like to have our dear readers place a vote for one of the two in the comments section...!!!

Proverbs 31???

I have nothing more to say...

This wonderful friend...

of the CVE family came down and delivered boxes of chocolate to all the single ladies... commenting that he figured the guys down here wouldn't do it... lol. Muchas gracias "Bash," and you are officially invited to the "fan club!"

P.S. (They are rather fabulous with the coffee... lol)

P.S.S...

(Perhaps the reason the guys down here won't give us chocolates... way, way, way too many side-effects...lol)

The original...

"BICYCLE REPAIRMAN"!!!! What think you, Dad???

Last night we had a slideshow...

for Jeff to commemorate his leaving... here, we have the "crown" for "King of the Cena (Dinner)" that Federico fashioned. The girls had a song they had written for him, and Amy & Gloria acted out the lyrics to the delight of the rest of our CVE family... good times!

Gabriel has this habit...

of shoving as much food as possible into his mouth and then sitting there staring at you like a little monkey. This is all good and hilarious until he gets tickled and food suddenly explodes out... gross.

All-Star in action...

a.k.a. Andres skateboarding. This little guy amazes me... whether it's skateboarding with the older boys, riding a "big-boy" bike, climbing up fences, trees, and buildings, or whatever else may strike his fancy... he does it like a pro... and not like a 3-year-old!!!

Carissa and I had a surprise visit...

in our house this morning... clowns! Matt and Meghan Ricketts took turns putting on Meghan's "clown outfit" that she had to wear to school...!

The weather has been warm and sunny around here lately, and the green grass is just starting to fill in... everyone is trying to spend lots of time outside in the sunshine! We have a work team coming this afternoon, so that will make this next week a busy one... but always a welcome fellowship time... =) Have a fabulous weekend, make sure you vote for who will win the "wristband standoff"... and don't forget that the commercialized love holiday is just around the corner...!

(Now, was that my personal opinion coming out?!?)

Joel Rink, hands down. As a guy, he doesn't need to shower.

Just to set you all at rest...dun, dun, dun-da...JENNA WON! I don't know what happened, but Joel is no longer wearing his armband!

YEAH FOR JENNA!

So everyone... who WOULD you have voted for??? =P

I would've voted for jenna. She has this amazing will to hold steady to the end. Some people call it being stubborn. :)

My vote is still for Joel. Just by judging by trends and stats, people named Joel are superior and win 99% of the time. I guess Jenna got lucky with the 1% win. (I think she cheated)

I can't believe that Joel let a girl beat him. My vote would have been 100% Joel, just because he's stubborn. We love you anyway Joel. God Bless!

So I guess in blog comments like these, you see who your true friends are..... :)
Bash-- you are so right about the good genes, hope i did you proud
Braden-- you are a very wise man and I am glad that i know you, and it is not being stubborn, it is persisting :)

Jenna, I was just going to say that I think Joel met his match as far as stubborn goes, but hey, maybe as far as persistance goes as well! :) Either that or he was hoping for a good reaction...?!
Love the pics, Steph!

I vote for hoel but i'm too late. next time there's a silly vote thing on this blog i'll be quicker. anyways since jenna tried to cheat using her legions to rip off hoel's bracelet he won by default. as everyone knows cheaters never win.

Well, I had every intention of being a stuborn male and winning the wristband contest, but I decided to be nice and let Jenna win..... In all reality, one girl ripped my bracelet off when another girl was distracting me. Hats off to Jenna!!!!

Okay
I have a couple of things to say.
1. I did not cheat
2. Carissa-thanks for your support
3. Sedge-good thing that you are not here or else I would do to you as I do to cute kittens.
4. Joel-you so did not let me win. And, Magda told me that you told her to take it off. you are such a sore loser, and I am sorry about that. :)

ok, ok congrats to everyone for their involvement in the dumb game. some questions though.

1. carissa when I click on your name it says you have a blog but it doesn't work? cve06 or something. have i been missing this?

2. Jenna why no blog? it should be a rule to benefit all of us in the bitter cold, boring midwest. gloria? seth? nicole? hoel? having steph's blog in addition to amy's has spoiled me a bit. i'm genuinely disappointed when there's no new news from CVE.

3. why don't all you nonbloggers join forces and come up with one blog you all share?

4. Steph, where's four to six page spread all about me in the CVE newsletter? Did i pose for nothing? ojala que no. if your lacking info there is a book about me. give the people what they want.

5. cuando podemos leer blogs de los ninos? como "the musings of Jose" o "eli's take on the world" i would love this.

6. is there a limit for how much you can write in a comment? could i be setting some sort of record?

7. yes, yes i could

da-VID, Sorry to disappoint you with the "blog" that I "have"--as it was only created so I could comment on Amy's blog before anonymous comments were allowed...I still have my CVE photo website if you want to see pictures. I keep it pretty updated when we have internet...these days not often. Maybe Amy and Steph could accept "guest posts" from the kids.? :) That could be entertaining! I am not going to try to compete for the longest blog comment--therefore, I will just anxiously await your first blog post! :)
